The Transitional Cathedral, informally the Cardboard Cathedral in Christchurch, New Zealand was built when the Christ Church Cathedral was heavily damaged by an earthquake on 22 February 2011. Meant to be temporary it has now become a permanent fixture in the city and will persist.[4896x3264][OC]
